GWF February event: Tuesday, Feb. 20 at the Vista Clubhouse
Please join us for a BEEautiful evening. We will be having a fondue party "social hour" from 5-6. Our guest speaker is Ray Story from The Colorado Beekeepers Association. Ray does a fun and fascinating presentation about these amazing creatures, complete with door prizes and honey tastings! We are asking you to bring Fondue Dippers (ie:Vegies, Fruit, Meat bites Cake bites, etc) instead of appetizers this month. Fondues pots with broth, oil, cheese and chocolate, as well as beverages will be provided.  We will be asking for donations to compensate our guest speaker and the work that he does to save our bees. ($5-10 suggested)

Jazz Concert!
February 22, Vista Clubhouse

Doors will be open at 5:30...but the concert will start promptly at 6:30.
From CU’s College of Music, this jazz trio is delighted to perform for the Genesee community! Please join us for what will surely be a fun evening! No food is involved, but you're more than welcome to socialize and BYOB. The musicians' bios are available to view HERE.

Remember that sombrero you just had to buy in Mexico? That dirndl that was so perfect in Munich? And, don't forget the kilt from Scotland. Whatever it was, retrieve it from the back of the closet and wear it proudly.
Please BYOB and a dish to share.
  • If your last name starts with I-Z, bring a salad or appetizer.
  • If your last name starts with A-H, bring a dessert.
  • All are welcome: meet new neighbors and socialize with old friends.
  • No RSVP is necessary.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Personal responsibility is the best prevention to safeguard personal property and to prevent becoming a victim.
  • Lock It: Lock your vehicle every time you leave it unattended and take your valuables with you.
  • Hide It: Hide your valuables in your trunk, under the seats, in the glove box, or other compartments within the vehicle. Ideally, take your property with you.
  • Per CO law, DO NOT leave your vehicle running and unattended, it is illegal. If you have to warm up your car, make sure to stay with might just save you from vehicle theft!
  • Please contact the sheriff's dept if you observe a crime or suspicious persons/behavior: 303-277-0211.


  • The password for board docs, finance, trails, & resident directory has changed to reflect the new year. Please call the office if you need it.

The Genescene deadline is now the 2nd Monday of the month. e.g. March 12, April 9, May 14, June 11. Please plan accordingly if you're turning in an ad or article. All deadlines are also noted on the calendar HERE.
