This weekend! Genesee Artisan's Holiday Show and Sale

The Genesee Artisans Group invites you to come to Vista Clubhouse for the 3rd Annual Show and Sale. About a dozen Genesee residents and charitable groups will offer original works of fine art, photography, serving boards, furniture, jewelry, and other pieces for sale.

Free Nidra Meditation - Tuesday, November 14
Vista Clubhouse 6:30-7:30pm

Discover and enjoy a meditative practice to build clarity, relieve stress and anxiety.
Cultivate a sense of ease, calm, resilience and wholeness. Become more responsive and less reactive. Learn centering, relaxation and breathing techniques. No prior yoga or meditation experience required. Bring a mat, a blanket, a small cushion and an eye pillow.

If you last name begins with I-N, please bring a dessert. Assignments will be rotated each month!

Environment/Wildlife Announcement

Dispose of pine needles and slash to help defend your home from wildfire

Genesee is not providing pine needle and slash pick-up this fall but residents can dispose of these items at Jefferson County’s slash collection on the weekend of November 11 and 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What’s accepted:
  • Limbs, branches and tree debris (8 feet maximum length, 6 inches maximum diameter)
  • Pine needles, tree bark, leaves and pine cones, bagged or unbagged
