Salary: $13/hr. - $17/hr.

Start Date: May 2019

End Date: September 2019

General Purpose:

To assist in the administration of internal programs for the Genesee Foundation. To foster and help organize all community summer events which includes Music in the Meadow, 4th of July Celebration, Movie Night, etc. Manage all clubhouse reservations and events. Assist office with administrative duties and scanning.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review all clubhouse reservations for completeness. Conduct walk-throughs with all renters. Inspect clubhouse after and before a rental. There will be weekends and evenings required.

  • Work closely with Foundation Committees and the General Manager to help plan, promote and organize all summer activities.

  • Assist in greeting residents and answering phones

  • ½ of day will consist of document scanning and document management

  • Participate in all employee safety programs and conduct business in such a manner that it will comply with local, state and federal regulations.

  • Work as a member of office staff including back up ARC support and to Community Manager

  • Assist with special projects as needed

  • Other duties as requested.

Working Conditions:

Material and equipment possibly used: Cleaning supplies, vacuum. Working environment: All clubhouses and recreational areas. Work may involve lifting 40 pounds, flexibility and bending. Evenings and weekends required. Material and equipment directly used: Personal computer including Internet, Windows, Office 365, Dropbox, Outlook, Publisher programs. Working environment: Office environment, heavy public interaction. Multiple projects and priorities. Independent decision making, self-organization, and flexible office environment. Must work July 4th, 2019.

Education + Experience:

  • High school graduate.

  • Ability to work with the public.

  • Event Planning experience a plus.

  • Ability to have a flexible schedule

  • Two years in administrative work and customer service a plus.

  • Attention to detail

  • Prior communications/public relations experience.

  • Proven self-organization skills.

  • Computer skills to include typing and basic internet ability.
