Resident Participation
There are no Open Space resident activities scheduled at this time,
walkthroughs are open to all Genesee residents and will be scheduled once
management prescriptions are made. Please look for information
in monthly issues of the Genescene, Comcast cable channel 8, mail box flyers and here
on this web page for upcoming events.

November 2006
- Genesee Ecosystem Management Committee review of the Open Space
Managers Report to submit to the Board of Directors with attached
comments / suggestions.
December 2006
- Genesee Foundation Board of Director review of the Open Space
Managers Report with comments / suggestions from the Genesee Ecosystem
Management Committee.
- Review of Open Space volunteer opportunities.
- Sanitation tree removal continues.
January 2007
- Sanitation tree removal continues.
- Request for proposals solicited from forestry professional to
prepare a marking report for Open Space management activities.
February 2007
- Tree marking complete in Dwarf Mistletoe and
shaded fuel break management areas.
March 2007
- Resident walkthrough and review of Open Space
management areas scheduled.
- Resident comments compiled and submitted to the
Board of Directors for review at scheduled Board meeting.
April 2007

- Draft Open Space Management Plan presented to
the Board of Directors for approval.
