Meadows within Genesee were reviewed by the Meadow Subcommittee.  Three meadows have been identified for restoration based on conifer encroachment, location, size and visibility to the community.  To restore these meadows sapling trees and smaller diameter trees growing in the canopy of larger trees will be removed.  Trees removed will be placed along the roadside to be chipped during the annual curbside chipping week.

Meadows 1 & 2 - Located west of Bitterroot Lane and north of the Bitterroot Lane Montane Drive East intersection.  These two areas are approximately 30 acres in size combined.

Meadow 3 - Located along Foothills Drive North, and the Wildflower Loop hiking trail, this area is approximately 15 acres in size.
