Genesee's various buildings and facilities are available for use by its residents and their guests. While most are included in Foundation fees, three facilities may be rented for parties, weddings, graduations, and other gatherings.
Vista Clubhouse features meeting rooms, swimming pools, tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground, and an outdoor grill and picnic area.
Foothills Clubhouse features a fitness center, a lap pool, a meeting room, and the community library.
Other facilities/amenities are Oxley Homestead, Solitude Tennis Courts, and miles of hiking trails.
| Vista Clubhouse, Foundation Offices and Recreation Facility
The Genesee Vista Clubhouse is the central hub for meetings of our clubs, committees, and Foundation Board of Directors. Vista is the host location of Strings by the Pool summer concerts, as well as the July 4th celebration and other community events, and serves as a gracious location for residents to hold celebrations and parties.
Residents may rent various areas of the Vista Clubhouse, including inside-only (up to 50 guests), outside and grill-only (up to 12 guests), and inside plus pools (up to 100 guests). For complete details about Vista Clubhouse rental, please review the rental guidelines, policies and agreement.

| Vista Meeting Rooms |
Vista’s upper floor provides a light, bright space for meetings, receptions, celebrations, and other gatherings. Accommodating up to 50 people, rental includes use of the kitchen, tables, folding chairs, coffee pot, projector screen, flipchart stand, etc. Guests particularly appreciate Vista’s ample parking and the room’s memorable views of meadows, mountains, and Mt. Evans. |

| Pools |
Vista's well-maintained swimming pools are busy all summer long. Overseen by certified lifeguards, our adult-sized pool is 1,250 sq. ft. and the tot pool is 400 sq. ft. Pools are surrounded by grassy areas and furnished with comfy chaise lounges and chairs. |

Vista Tennis Courts

One of Genesee’s two sets of tennis courts is conveniently located at the Vista Clubhouse. Well-maintained and fresh with mountain air and splendid views, our courts provide a welcome change from other municipal courts for resident tennis enthusiasts. Tennis lessons, a ball machine, and singles and doubles leagues are offered to our residents.

Vista’s basketball half-court features a 10-ft. regulation-sized backboard. Balls are available in the Foundation office. |

| Playground |
Featuring swings and a large jungle gym, the Vista Playground provides plenty of opportunities for energetic playtime for Genesee’s children. The playground is clean and well maintained for child safety and boasts one of the most incredible views of any playground anywhere! |

FOOTHILLS CLUBHOUSE
The focus for fitness in Genesee, the Foothills Clubhouse has an impressive selection of state-of-the art fitness equipment, an area for meetings and casual gatherings, a book exchange, an outdoor, competition-sized lap pool, and men's and women's locker rooms, showers, and dressing areas. |

Renovated and expanded in 2010, the 2,000 sq. ft. Fitness Center is well furnished with state-of-the art equipment. Residents stay fit with cardio machines—treadmills, elliptical runners, rowing, etc.—and weight training—Nautilus, free weights, etc. Also available at Foothills are table tennis, fitness classes in yoga and Zumba, space for dance practice, and professional, fee-based trainers. (If racquetball is your game, courts are available for use by Genesee residents just down the road in Genesee Village.) |

The competition-sized lap pool (25 meters X 5 lanes) is available for residents during the summer months and is supervised by certified lifeguards. The Foothills pool is home to Genesee’s award-winning Mountain Thunder swim team.

In the true spirit of community, Foothills features a large collection of books for sharing. Take a book, leave a book—or not! It’s great fun to browse the shelves for new titles and feels great to leave books behind for other readers to enjoy. Stop by often—this is an active library! |

Oxley Homestead

Its structure dating to the turn of the last century, the charming Oxley Homestead accommodates up to 20 people. Oxley is where residents meet for “First Friday,” a monthly happy hour scene where both new and current residents can meet and mingle and is home to a library of local flora and fauna.

Solitude Tennis Courts

Located to the south in Genesee—off Montane Drive and Bitterroot Lane—Solitude’s tennis courts are aptly named. Well-maintained and fresh with mountain air and splendid views, all Genesee courts provide a welcome change from other municipal courts for resident tennis enthusiasts. Hiking Trails |
Genesee residents are duly proud of the 12 miles of privately owned and maintained hiking trails that meander throughout the community's open space. These popular trails are for foot traffic only: two- and (leashed) four-legged hikers alike.
